The Shed is a workshop selling retro & rustic style furniture, objets, pictures & gifts.

Items stocked over the years have ranged from my own paintings & drawings, oiled oak sideboards and thirties fireside chairs, painted bedside cabinets and chests of drawers, Utility cupboards and laundry racks, galvanised steel watering cans, raffia and wire food covers and enamel tea and coffee sets, and all sorts of unusual bric a brac!

Open since 1999, The Shed is a culmination of various influences; from rummaging for 'treasure' in my Grandmother's shed as a child, to hours spent wandering around furniture ateliers and markets in Florence whilst studying drawing there a few years ago.

The Shed is currently situated in the beautiful walled courtyard garden of one of Norfolk's most popular foodie inns, The Saracen's Head, itself a 'lost' wonder worth finding, (Booking essential if you wish to combine your trip to The Shed with a meal - call 01263 768909. The Shed is generally open whenever the pub is open, or by arrangement by calling 07775 503450.
